Mayor´s Christmas Wish
Dear co-citizens, friends,
It is Christmas time. It is the time of joy and happiness, time of giving. We lit the candlelight at the Christmas wreath, prepare shiny decorations and what is the most important we start walking the world with our hearts in our hands. I admit it, personally, I look forward to this time of the year. It is full of wonderful magic that is hiding everywhere round us. Whether it is the snowflakes falling from the skies, the scent of freshly baked gingerbread or the colourful lights on the Christmas trees and the windows at our households. These are all signs giving us the feeling of warmness of our homes no matter how far we are. I would be happy if this Christmas spirit could reach each and every one of us and fill us with a gift of peace, generosity and kindness.
Dear friends, our world- it is people around us. It is down to them whether we are sad or happy. Let me therefore wish you to have someone who brings tenderness and joy to your life near you. May angels hiding in your friends be accompanying you not only during the Christmas time but all through the year, let them be the ones who can take away the sadness, warm your hearts and ease the pain. I wish you beautiful season holidays and may the New Year bring:
Lots of love since it gives sense to our lives,
Lots of health since it bring endless opportunities and
Lots of luck since nothing tastes better than surprises of Luck itself.

____________________________________
Levice 2nd Dec. 2009
Dear Sir/Madam
Levice is trying to provide reasonable opportunities for the development of sporting and cultural activities as well as the town’s social projects year after year.
Apart from having reasonable sporting and cultural premises the town is covering fully the running expenses of these and is also trying to support the sporting and cultural events with certain donations.
The town‘ s budget is rather limited especially these days – the recession time, which forces us to look for other options in order to keep up the current sporting and cultural events number and above all to save these from dissolution.
Dear Sir/Madam, I am absolutely certain that you also care about the sporting and cultural events held in our town that also your employees may be participating at these, and that you also care about the sporting and cultural premises where these events may be held. This certainty made me to write this letter in which I wish to ask all of you for help. Please help to support the sporting, cultural and social events in our town. The healthy development of our co-citizens should interest all. In this stressful period it is the least we can do for our citizens and for ourselves. Together we can make it.
With regards,
Ing. Štefan MIŠÁK

- to build 4 terraced houses, providing 36 flats (70 - 140 m²) behind the current House of culture Družba.
The whole building would be paid by the investor. The theatre and the cinema would be sold or rented to the town.
The town of Levice would finance the reconstruction of the Heroes square. The authorized would apply for grant funding from the funds of the EU.
The main components of the project by Hrivis, s. r. o., Bratislava were:
- underground parking area with a capacity of 560 parking spaces,
